Dubbed “The Golden Age Act,” this legislation takes inspiration from Trump’s own proclamation of ushering in a “golden age” for America during his presidency. The bill has garnered additional support from Texas Representative Troy Nehls, who has joined Gill as a co-sponsor, signaling a united front on this controversial yet captivating proposal.

If the legislation gains traction, it would require the U.S. Treasury Secretary to unveil a preliminary design of the revamped $100 bill by the close of next year, ultimately ensuring Trump’s visage graces the currency by the end of 2028—right at the conclusion of a potential second term.
